Participant Feed

Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.

To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

  • REFLECTION QUESTION

How does/can practicing gratitude keep you centered and motivated to work for a better world?

Sometimes just the littlest things can brighten a persons day. Any time I go to get coffee or even to McDonalds, I will pay for the person behind me as well. You don't know what people are going through in life and that small task could have changed that persons whole day.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health Healthy Sleep
Consider how many hours of sleep you get now. How would you like to shift your sleep patterns? What are you finding works for you to be successful in this action?

I would like to try to go to bed a little earlier. It is difficult trying to go home and go straight to bed. I have been going to bed 30 minutes early and waking up 30 minutes later to get my extra hour of sleep.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Simplicity Less Screen Time
What did you notice in implementing this challenge? Was it hard to choose other activities over screen time? How did you decide to spend your time?

By doing this simple thing, I am able to spend more time paying attention to my daughter. It was not hard to do. I simply would put my phone on charge in another room and forget about it.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Simplicity Limit Social Media
Social media can keep us connected with loved ones, make us laugh, and help us to learn new things. It can also create echo chambers and take more time than we realize or intend to give. After completing this action for a few days, how do you feel? What do you notice?

I was able to spend a few hours with my family with no phones to be found. It was nice to catch up and be able to talk to every one without everyone with their face in their phones.
