Just before I started at CCM, my family was moving from my childhood home at the same time I was moving out. There was a LOT to go through, and a lot of dusty things I'd forgotten I had. Things I bought thinking I'd use them went untouched for years. My donation pile was massive. This, combined with moving into a much smaller space (with fewer places to hide my things out of sight) has helped me become more cognizant of what is a need versus a want, and what deserves to take up space. Also, less stuff = less cleaning!
