    Energy Power Down the Computer

Other easy things I can do to save energy are always make sure a light is off when not using it and to implement the use of more power strips.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

Practicing gratitude keeps you centered and motivated to work for a better world because you have something in the world to look forward to, a reason to make the world a better place for yourself and those around you.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Simplicity Less Screen Time
What did you notice in implementing this challenge? Was it hard to choose other activities over screen time? How did you decide to spend your time?

I actually think doing this was easier than I thought. Instead of picking up my phone or a tv remote, I would just pick up a book and read instead.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Simplicity Limit Social Media
Social media can keep us connected with loved ones, make us laugh, and help us to learn new things. It can also create echo chambers and take more time than we realize or intend to give. After completing this action for a few days, how do you feel? What do you notice?

    Hannah S 4/14/2022 7:08 PM
After spending less time on social media, I feel less stressed and I feel like I have more time to focus on myself.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Nature Go for a Daily Walk
How do you experience your neighborhood or city differently when walking instead of driving?

When walking instead of driving, it is easier to take in all of the houses. You notice details about each one you’ve never noticed before. For example, I’ve started paying attention to which houses have siding versus brick, have basketball hoops, and what kinds of plants are popular amongst the different gardens.
