  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Choose Organic Ingredients
Many people say that “you can’t feed the world with just organic food.” How would you respond to that statement?

Before mass production came into play, I believe that  most of the food that the world consumed was organic.  Now with big companies wanting to produce as much as they can and as quick as they can, fertilizers and chemicals are used to make the foods grow faster and larger.  If more people in the world demanded organic food, it could be done.

For the parents on the team with babies, my wife and I buy organic coconut oil and use that on their bottoms for any diaper rash or irritation instead of a diaper cream.  We also cloth diaper instead of using disposables.  My wife is addicted to cloth diapers so hit me up if you have any questions. We bought a compost bin.  My wife has always wanted to start a compost pile for gardening.  The kids are excited to throw fruit peelings and other things in to compost.

We are renting an older house that has all of the older light bulbs.  I bought a 16 back of LED's tonight and went around the house changing out the bulbs.

Being new to the area/state, I have plenty of new neighbors to meet.  I've met several while doing things outside and they'll be going for a daily walk or walking their dog.
